Summer Beach Fiesta - Saturday, July 31st
Come out to the first ever Mexican Beach Fiesta hosted by the MFRC! Enjoy a day at the beach, some delicious mexican treats, and tons of games and activities for the kids! Bring some snacks and salads to share, your bathing suit, and you're favourite sombrero! This event is taking place at Locarno Beach from 11am-3pm. Karaoke and Fireworks Party at the Jericho Mess - Saturday, July 31st
Not ready to head home just yet after spending the day at the beach? Why not check out the Karaoke and Fireworks party at the Jericho Mess! It starts off at 8pm and goes until 2am, and the fireworks start around ten. What a great way to experience the Celebration of Lights!
Tuesday Family Movie Nights at Jericho!
Come down to the Jericho trailers to watch a family movie OUTSIDE!
***Movies start at 7:30pm, but come early to get a good seat!

Chilliwack Exhibition - August 6th-8th
Come spend the day at the Chilliwack Exhibition! The MFRC and the Canadian Foces will be present, so don't be shy... COME ON BY. Show your support for our military families!
The exhibition focuses on local culture, heritage and business. Agriculture also plays a huge role in this event, as it is a large part of the Chilliwack community. Local artists and artisans will be featured throughout the weekend, so come out and support local talent! Entertainment includes music, dance groups and school performances.

Abbotsford International Airshow - Friday, August 13th - Sunday, August 15th
Bring your friends, family and your sunscreen to this year's Abbtosford International Air Show!
Come early to get a good seat, as flying starts at 10am, and ends at 5pm
The Airshow Grounds are open to the public from 8AM to 6PM.
Admission Prices are as follows:

CHILD 6-12 | $12 |
| CHILD Under 5 | FREE! |
CARLOAD(Max 8) | $100 |
Admission includes FREE onsite parking, access to the general seating area, static display, ground exhibits and concessions.
General seating is located on the grass field.... don't forget to bring a blanket or chair, as seating is NOT provided at this event!!

ASU Chilliwack Street Dance! - Saturday, August 21st
Its time for the ASU street dance again!!!
Military and civilian members of the Area Support Unit (ASU) Chilliwack invite everyone to put on their "boogie shoes" for the 13th Annual Charity Street Dance on Aug. 21.
No minors please.... :)
What? The 13th annual ASU Street Dance - Live dance music with Faith & Desire! Food is served until midnight, free corn while it lasts including prizes!
When? Saturday, August 21st. Doors open at 6pm - 1am
Where? ASU, 5535 Korea Rd (off Keith Wilson Road)
How much? Tickets are $15 advance, $20 at the door, cash only. Tickets available at ASU Chilliwack!
